The Creative Path

From a good job to a life that's actually yours.

Maybe this is you: good at your job, paid well, respected — and every evening your hands reach for the thing you actually love. The clay, the sketchbook, the sewing machine, the camera. You're not unhappy, exactly. You're just not lit up. The Workshop Way isn't about burning the good job down. It's about building a creative life beside it — one honest step at a time, until that life is big enough to hold you.

1
The Ache · where you start
The good job — and a quiet no.
“I'm grateful for this. So why do I feel like I'm waiting for my real life to start?”
A stable salary, a full calendar, and a craft that only ever happens after hours. The dream feels reckless, so you keep it small. The shift isn't quitting — it's letting yourself ask one honest question: what if this could be the work?
2
The First Seat · first proof
You teach one small workshop.
“People paid to learn something I do for fun. That changes everything.”
You keep the job. You run one workshop for a handful of people — your craft, taught by you. No website, no brand, no leap. For the first time your creativity earns, and the story flips: from a woman with a hobby to a woman people learn from.
3
The Side Studio · momentum
It becomes a repeatable thing.
“This isn't a fluke. I have a little studio running on the side.”
A workshop you can run again and again, a real price, a small rhythm of paying guests each month. It fits around the job — evenings, a weekend, a rented room. Income arrives that has nothing to do with your salary.
4
The Replacement Year · the bridge
You build the plan that makes leaving safe.
“I don't want to gamble my security. I want a number and a map.”
You calculate your real no-compromise number — the income that lets you keep everything that matters, without giving any of it up. Then you build a 12-month bridge: creative income rising as salaried hours come down, on your terms. The leap stops being a cliff and becomes a staircase.
5
The Creative Business · the turn
The craft becomes the career.
“The thing I used to do after work IS the work now.”
A signature way of teaching, a handful of offers, workshops that fill, and a calendar built around your craft instead of someone else's deadlines. You're a Mentor now — not just a maker — and the old job is finally optional.
6
A Life You Enjoy · the destination
Work that finally feels like yours.
“I'm not counting down to the weekend anymore.”
Days shaped around your own hands and your own hours. Enough money — and, rarer, enough meaning. Not a bigger hustle: a life you'd choose on purpose, built on the creativity that was there the whole time.

The whole method, in one line.

You don't quit your way into a creative life — you build your way out. Each step funds and de-risks the next, so your security stays intact while your creative income grows, until the day it's strong enough to hold you. No cliff. Just a bridge you walk across on purpose.

Where we begin

Maybe you already
know enough.

You don't need a bigger idea or another certificate. You need a way to turn what's already in your hands into something people will happily pay for.

You have skills.
You have experience.
You have ideas.

But you're not sure how to turn them into something people pay for.

let's change that.
How it works

Three steps from skill to paid workshop.

No big launch, no overwhelm. We start with a conversation and move at your pace.

1

Start where you are

Download the free journal, join the Accelerator, or apply for 1:1 — pick the entry point that fits you today.

2

Shape your first workshop

Together we turn one of your skills into a clear, confident offer — what it is, who it's for, and what to charge.

3

Get paid & repeat

Run it, learn from it, and build toward steady, recurring income — with structure and support the whole way.

Anna-Liisa in her workshop
Your mentor

My name is Anna-Liisa.

I'm a carpenter, workshop facilitator, business mentor — and a migrant woman building a creative life in Germany.

I didn't start with a perfect business plan. I started with one workshop. Then another. That turned into a small community, a clearer offer, and eventually a business that holds my life instead of running it.

The Workshop Way is the path I wish someone had handed me at the start. Now I hand it to you.

Anna-Liisa
In their words

From makers I've
worked with.

After only two sessions, the Workshop Way program has already been a great investment. Anna-Liisa is a natural motivator — insightful, and a fountain of knowledge and experience. The thoughtful structure has already led to actionable steps forward.

Good questions

Before you begin.

Is this only for woodworkers and makers?
Not at all. The Workshop Way grew out of my work as a carpenter, but the path fits any skill you could teach — baking, ceramics, photography, herbalism, language, coaching, organising. If people ask you how you do something, you have a workshop in there.
I'm not sure I'm "expert enough" to teach.
You don't need to be the best in the world — only a few steps ahead of the people you're teaching. A single workshop is a small, honest way to share what you know. Confidence comes from doing it, not from waiting to feel ready.
Do I need a business, a website, or an audience first?
No. We start with one clear offer and one real workshop — not a whole brand. The audience, the systems, and the recurring income are built later, step by step, once you've proven the idea with real people.
What's the difference between the Accelerator and 1:1?
The Accelerator is a guided group program — structure, community, and momentum as you build your first or next paid workshop. 1:1 mentoring is private, tailored time for focused feedback on your offer, pricing, or next decision. Not sure which fits? Apply for a 1:1 call and we'll figure it out together.
Where you start

You don't need to build the whole business today.
You need one clear next step.

The journal, the Accelerator, or 1:1 — pick the step that fits you. Either way, it's small and doable today.

you don't have to do it alone.
